Real Techniques Brushes Review

Hey there!

It's official. I have the best fiance ever! It was just a regular night of pizza and Netflix when he surprised me with a whole load of Real Techniques make-up brushes. He got me both the face and eye set! I know, I know. He spoils me!

The purple brushes are from the eye set and the orange ones are from the face set. The eye make-up brush set is made up of five brushes including a fluffy crease brush, a shading brush, a smaller crease brush, an angled eyeliner brush and a fine liner brush. The face make-up brush set if made up of four brushed including a contour brush, a pointed foundation brush, a detailer brush and a buffing brush. Each set also comes with it's very own case that you can use to transport your brushes and stand them up on your dressing table with.

As you can see all of the brushes are made of thick, soft high-quality bristles. Honestly when I first opened them I have never felt a softer make-up brush. I do love my Sephora brushes, however I have to say that these are better. I have used them  handful of times already and I have had no bristles fall out and they glide across the skin perfectly, no cheap, nasty, spiky hairs that scratch.

The brushes work well with both liquid and powder products and can be cleaned easily. It is recommended to clean your brushes at least once a week to keep them in great condition. However, sometimes I can go for a whole week not wearing any make-up so I won't be cleaning mine that frequently. Plus if you know me, you'll probably know that I am very low-maintenance when it comes to make-up.

Another thing worth noting is that the brushes and all of the Real Techniques products are 100% cruelty free; meaning they don't test on animals or use any animal product in any of their lines!

If you want to purchase any of the Real Techniques brushes you can do so on their website where they sell even more brushes and accessories and ship to the UK.
