Style Snaps: Insta Winter Femme Luxe Lookbook*

If you’ve been a follower of mine for a while then you probably know about my seasonal collabs with a online fashion brand called Femme Luxe. Every season I tend to do a little Instagram inspired lookbook with them to show you all how I would style their array of trend inspired clothing. As winter is now in full force, I decided to pick a few items that I can bundle up in and layer for the colder months to come.

Monday moods

Femme Luxe Houndstooth Paper Bag Slim Fit Trousers // Primark Velvet Tee // Seaburger Scarf // Cotton On Sunnies

I don’t know about you but on a Monday when I’m in the office I like to be comfortable but also professional. These slim fit trousers fit the bill exactly. I really like the paper bag fit as they are not only extremely comfortable to sit around in the office all day in - they are also very flattering. They cinch you in on the waist perfectly giving a beautiful hourglass shape. As the trousers are pretty bold, I decided to just tone the look down with a black velvet box tee. I really like the contrast of slim fit on the bottom and oversized on the top - it creates a really stylish silhouette. To keep warm, I also added in a chunky knit scarf - perfect for when you have to nip out for lunch. I’d also recommend layering a jacket on top like a black leather biker jacket, or puffer for more warmth. Then to finish off the look, I grabbed my favourite cat eye sunnies which I purchased from Cotton on during my recent trip to Australia.

TGIF

Femme Luxe Black Faux Leather Look Leggings // Primark Long Line Green Tee // Roxy Handbag // New Look Scrunchie // Cotton On Sunnies // Gifted Necklace

This is one of my favourite looks in this post, and I have honestly already worn this outfit so many times. I think the reason why I love black faux leather leggings so much is because they are so easy to style. These ones are also some of the most comfortable leather look leggings I have ever owned. I don’t feel the least bit limited when I wear them. To keep the comfy vibes going I just paired them with a simple long line tee with a seam down the middle. It cuts just about my thigh in the front and in the back scoops all the way down past my bottom which is essential for me when wearing leggings. For accessories I chose a green velvet scrunchie for my hair, the same sunnies from the last look and my trusty black Roxy bag. You could definitely dress this look up by adding some plain black heels for a Friday night out, or style it down with some trainers. For comfort reasons - I’d choose the latter.

Mid-week coffee break

Femme Luxe Waterfall Duster Belted Long Coat // H&M Black and White Graphic Tee // H&M Tan Leather Look Skirt

Warm coats and jackets are a must in the winter, especially if you live in a place like London where the winters are pretty relentless. However, whilst I want to be warm I also want to be stylish. And what screams style more than a camel duster coat? A timeless piece that everyone should have in their wardrobe - it is essential for the winter season. I wanted do a little colour matching with mine, and decided to style the jacket with a similar coloured skirt. However to ensure that my look doesn’t fall flat I chose a piece that matched in colour but contrasted in texture. To dress the look down a little bit I finished it off with a simple graphic tee. This is the perfect look for a little mid-week lunch or coffee date. However, if I were to wear this out I would definitely enlist the warmth of some black cotton tights and heeled booties.

Here’s to the weekend

Femme Luxe Black Yves Saint Love Graphic Tee // Cotton On 90’s Fit Jeans // Primark Embellished Belt // Cotton On Sunnies // Urban Outfitters Elephant Necklace // Gifted Choker

No weekend wardrobe is complete without a few graphic tees. They can be styled in so many different ways and are comfy af. During the weekend my style is pretty simple and very much dominated by darker colour schemes, especially during winter. So in the spirit of my true weekend self, I just paired my graphic tee with a pair of plain black jeans in a 90’s fit. To make my look a bit more interesting I added some silver accessories in the form of a necklace and belt. I can definitely see myself wearing this on most lazy weekends.

So which was your favourite winter look that you’ll be rocking this season? I think my favourites definitely have to be “monday moods” and “here’s to the weekend”. If you loved how I styled these looks make sure you check out my other Femme Luxe collab posts.
