The Divine Shoe From Hotter Shoes Review

Who doesn't love a killer pair of shoes?

That's why when I was invited to visit a Hotter shoe store, I was super excited. I had never purchased any shoes from Hotter before but I think that's mainly because there wasn't really one in any of my favourite shopping spots. But I must admit when I finally did visit one I was pleasantly surprised.

The main reason why I say I was so surprised is because Hotter shoes has got a reputation for catering to the much older market. However after having a look around the store, this is certainly not the case. Many of the shoes, especially the boots, were very on trend. That's where the Divine booties comes in. How gorgeous are these?

I don't have any brown boots, so when I got the opportunity to try a pair out, I knew that they had to be brown. I think brown is a really underrated colour when it comes to women's footwear. More often than not most women, myself included, opt for black. I don't know why I always do it but I do. So I've made a conscious decision to try and buy more footwear that isn't black. Brown goes with a lot more things than you think. I especially love the blue denim and brown bootie combo.

Another thing that I really love about the Divine booties is the mix in textures. Combining different textures is a great way to really bring your outfit to life, instead of it looking very flat. The front of the boot is suede and the back of is a faux snake skin texture. This creates a really beautiful contrast and adds a little more interest to the boot.

I have to add that these booties are the comfiest high heeled boots I have ever worn. The inside is so soft and spongy, keeping my feet snug and happy all day. Inside the boot itself there is actually a small spongy pad where the ball of your foot rests for extra comfort. I wore these boots at work all day and didn't once complain (which is a big deal for me when it comes to even the tiniest heels!).

The boots have zips on either side of them. This makes getting them on a whole lot easier, especially if you have a high instep like me. So I know I can quickly slip into these boots to run some errands in and still look I made an effort. Not to mention, the zips also make the boots look a lot more interesting.

A small detail that I feel worth mentioning is the lining inside the actual boot. The floral pattern is so pretty and it just gives the boot that extra touch of femininity. Although you can't see the lining when you have the shoes on I still think it's a lovely added feature.
