Now that spring is finally here (kinda!) I am so exciting to start styling some more colourful and breezy looks here on my blog. So, to kick this spring season off I have collaborated again with Femme Luxe, an online trend inspired clothing store that stock an array of styles and pieces for a variety of occasions. However, this particular lookbook is going to be focusing more pieces that you can style yourself throughout the upcoming spring and summer seasons.

In the spring and summer there is nothing I love more than a simple denim short and tee combo. This simple yet stylish cropped t-shirt is the perfect way to transition your everyday weekend style into the warmer months. It fits snugly, making the most of your figure without flaunting too much skin. It’s the perfect partner to some high waisted jeans, or some equally as high waisted shorts. The fact that it’s just a black tee with a simple motif means that it can be be styled in so many different ways - it can also be layered on top of when it’s a bit chillier outside (here’s looking at you unpredictable London weather!).

The Lazy Sunday

Femme Luxe Khaki Hooded Crop Sweater Jumper / Shein Leggings

I literally rock outfits like this most Sundays, mainly because I am just pottering about the house all day but also because I want to look cute doing it! Hoodies, especially cropped ones are perfect for the spring and summer seasons, because not only do they keep cold off your shoulders in the evening, they can also look super cute wrapped around your waist when things get a little too hot. I love the colour of this khaki hoodie because it can go with literally any of the bottoms I have in my wardrobe - black leggings, blue jeans, grey workout leggings - it also adds in some much needed colour to my otherwise monochrome wardrobe.

The Office Wallflower

I have already worn this look to work so many times since receiving this jumper! The image above really doesn’t give the beautiful colour of this jumper any justice, in real life it is so vibrant and pretty! So much so that I got so many compliments on it’s colour whilst at the office. Again, this is another perfect piece to add some colour into your spring and summer wardrobe. It goes with pretty much anything I wear to the office, which let’s be honest is mainly black jeans. The fit is extremely oversized, but I love that, especially when paring it with some super skinny high waisted jeans.The collar is also huge, but this is perfect for staying cosy in those over air conditioned offices in summer!

The Bad Girl

As a tall lady I do struggle to find jumpsuits that compliment my long torso, however this one seems to do the trick! As the neckline on this one was extremely plunging I decided to pair it with this buckled body suit, whilst this covers up a little more of the girls, it also adds in some texture to give a more interesting look to an otherwise one dimensional outfit. Of course, you could also pair this with a mesh or lace bodysuit which I think would look super sassy for a night out. The material is lovely and soft which I imagine is very breathable for a summer night too!
