Why Travellers Like To Chase The Sun...**

When you travel, you feel on top of the world, literally.

You can go to new and exciting places, meet all kinds of interesting people, eat plenty of rich and delicious foods you’ve never heard of, and go sightseeing around some amazing historic sights. But when it comes to deciding where to travel to do all of these things, we usually opt for somewhere with higher than average temperatures and a lack of cloud cover.

All in all, if you’re someone who travels a lot, there’s a good chance you’ve got more sunny and warm climate countries ticked off your list than you do climates that drop into the zeros. And why is that? Well, let’s take a quick look at a couple of the main reasons! Don’t worry though, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to constantly go where the sun is shining down the most on you!

The sun makes us happy!

Literally! Human beings evolved to rise with the sun and sleep when it sets, and the modern day tends to throw that into a bit of a limbo… It means there’s a lot of seasonal depression going around, and people travel to warmer and sunnier places during the autumn and the winter to make sure we’re still soaking up those feel good vitamins.

Exposure to the sun tells our brains to make more and more serotonin, bringing our moods up and keeping us on a high. And hey, when the sun is out, we’re more likely to wear the clothes we like and go to the places we want to visit! All in all, if the sun is out, we’re more active, which is another thing that makes us happy, and our brains produce more chemicals too!

There’s so much o do at the beach!

When you’re in a sunny country, and there seems to be nothing but sun and heat around, there’s going to be a lot of activities you can do and events you can attend. You can go diving down to see the coral reefs, swim with sea turtles and dolphins, try your hand at surfing, or go out in a boat as a family and have your own mini cruise. And that’s just a taste of the stuff you can do out in the water! There’s so much more on the beach itself you can have fun with.

There’s even different accommodations to look into when you’re at the beach too; for example, there’s luxury villas in Canggu that you can rent out, rather than take a hotel in the city nearby. And that’s something that can get anyone excited: a whole villa to yourself!

Chasing the sun is something a lot of people do, especially unconsciously. Everyone deserves to have some kind of beach holiday at some point, and you’re never going to be happier than when it feels like you’ve got a sandy shore to yourself!
