Style Snaps: Insta Femme Luxe Lookbook*

At the moment I am rediscovering my love for styling and fashion.  Although fashion hasn't been represented on my blog as much in the last few months, it's still something I am very passionate about. Throughout the years my style has changed so much and has become more diverse and fluid. I'm not such a purist about style anymore and I like to explore all sorts of different outfits, combining textures, colours and styles. 

So when I was approached by Femme Luxe, an online women's clothing store, to try out some of their clothes I was more than thrilled. The store has a variety of different clothes in a range of sizes, suitable for any occasion. I particularly liked the fact that they had the same item in a variety of colours - so then if you find that something fits really well you can order it in all the other colours too. 

 The Loungewear Set

Femme Luxe Black with White Stripe Off Shoulder Loungewear Set  / Wish Headband

The first look I put together from my little Femme Luxe haul was this super comfy and casual lounge set, perfect for a lazy weekend in lounging around the house. The material of this set is soft and almost silky feeling, however because of this there isn't too much stretch in the material. So if you like a more oversized look go for the size up. I'd wear this with my hair up in a messy bun, a cute ruched headband and accessorise with the TV remote and Netflix. 

The Casual Weekender

Femme Luxe Mustard Extreme Polo Neck Oversized Jumper / Pacsun Dungarees / Specsavers Glasses 

This jumper is my absolute favourite item in this haul. I am obsessed with mustard yellow and have been dying to inject more of it into my wardrobe and this polo jumper is the perfect way to do so. The fit of this jumper is also so flattering - it has bell sleeves and a loose fitting body. I think that because I love the fit of this I can see myself wearing this a lot to create a variety of different outfits. I have already paired this with some black jeans for work, dungarees for the weekend and I am looking forward to putting it with a skirt in the summer.  

The Smart Casual

Femme Luxe Grey High Neck Bodycon Jumper Dress / Urban Outfitters Necklace 

If you like a true bodycon dress then this is the jumper dress for you. Truly body hugging, this dress is great for anyone who wants to embrace their curves and show off their figure. The high neck and long sleeves make it really cozy and snug, ideal for the chillier weather in the colder months. I think this could be styled in a lot of different ways to create a variety of looks. Personally, I would keep it simple and style it with a long dainty necklace like the one above, black leggings for extra warmth and some over the knee boots. 

The All-Nighter 

Femme Luxe Black One Shoulder Ruched Slinky Midi Dress / Hollister Necklace / New Look Heels 

Definitely the most glamorous item in this haul, this one sleeve dress is perfect for a night out. I usually wouldn't wear something ruched and form fitting but I thought I would go out of my comfort zone - and I am really glad that I did. Being 5ft 10' I was worried that this midi dress would be more mini on me but I am happy to say it does fit like a true midi dress, skimming just above my knees. My favourite feature of this dress is the small tie around detail on the waist, it really accentuates a tiny waist and gives the illusion of a more dramatic hourglass figure. As this dress is quite subtle I thought I'd pair it with a statement necklace to give it a bigger wow factor. I then finished the outfit off with some minimalist heels, making the dress and necklace the main attraction. 

So that's it for my Femme Luxe style haul. After being out of the styling game for a while I have to admit that doing this post was alot of fun and I'm definitely thinking of doing another one soon.
