The Blogger's Hangout Birthday Party*
Hey there!
Last weekend I was lucky enough to be invited to the Blogger's Hangout birthday party in The Strand Gallery. It was a fun filled day full of beauty brands, sweeties, perfumes and treats. I thought that I would just take a few snaps and share them with you all. Also stay tuned over on my YouTube channel for a vlog coming soon!
The Strand Gallery was just a short walk from Charring Cross station. Before I arrived I sat in the near by park soaking in the sun and listening to music. It was a beautiful day to spend in London. The Strand Gallery was a lovely venue- very minimalist chic.
As soon as I entered I was greeted by the lovely ladies from K B Hair who has a beautiful display of flowers and stunning hair extensions!
As a recovering hair dye addict I know the importance of hair extensions. They don't just create length but also fullness which can help you create so many more hairstyles. One of my favourite things about K B Hair was the fact that they do custom coloured extensions. So, if you have brown hair but were feeling a little bit adventurous you could have brown extensions with some pastel pink streaks (or whatever else you wanted) throughout.
After pawing through the extensions and helping myself to a mini dessert cup I moved along to meet the next brand called Sass and Belle. Sass and Belle are a super cute but functional home ware brand based in London. All of their items have a vintage or kitsch feel which beautiful girly details and splashes of colour.
Some of my favourite pieces were the vintage map suitcases and the small slogan dishes. I think that they would look really nice either in your bedroom or in your living room as handy yet beautiful storage solutions. I'd also like to thank Sass and Belle for their very generous goodie bag that they gave me. I love all of the pieces inside and cannot wait to use them!
Goodie bag in tow I made way over to a very colourful display which I had clocked on the way in. I couldn't wait to see what was waiting for me. I was greeted by a lovely lady who introduced me to her own brand Dinki Belle. Just look at those nail wraps and those gorgeous floral patterns!
Next up was Nature's Wish an essential oils brand who promote all natural skincare. All of the products are made with flower essences to encourage a tranquil and peaceful mindset. What I love most about Nature's Wish is that the whole range is all about your well-being and helping yourself maintain a healthier mind. Another plus for me is that all of the products are cruelty free too.
I have seen so many of my favourite health and fitness bloggers raving about the wondrous health benefits of matcha tea and finally I tried some with the T-tox team. T-tox stock all kinds of matcha tea, from good old plain matcha to matcha tea that is meant to energise and help you recover. I must say, I actually really liked the taste. It really cleanses your palette and has a subtle earthy taste which I liked. You can even mix your matcha tea with coconut water which I loved! It honestly tasted so good. I think I may have to incorporate matcha into my everyday routine.
This was just the most beautiful display ever! That's why you'll now be spammed with an influx of the gorgeous stand that was set up by the lovely Perfume Shop. I must admit I had ever so much fun smelling all of the different perfumes and I was actually quite taken back by what I liked. Usually I go for scents that are slightly more fresh and musky however after trying out a few of the new up and coming summer scents I was pleasantly surprised.
I actually want to personally thank The Perfume Shop for putting up with my fussy nose and bringing me out of my perfume comfort zone. Also for running their fantastic competition to win a fragrance of my choice! My favourite perfume on the day was definitely Marc Jacob's Decadence, which (extremely lucky me!) I actually won! I am so excited for it to come and would like to thank The Perfume Shop again for giving away such a generous prize.
The final brand I met at the Blogger's Hangout event was Pink Parcel who are an amazing company who offer some fantastic subscription based boxes. However, this is a bit different from your standard beauty box. It is specifically sent out just before you start your period as a kind of pick-me-up. I cannot tell you how much I love this idea. I don't know about you but I always feel a bit down when I'm due so I know that receiving something beautiful in the post will definitely make it all seem a whole lot better!
