How do you start writing again after a few months off? Just start! It’s some of the best and most cliché pieces of advice in the writing world. And I unashamedly love clichés. Especially when I can apply them to the neglect of my blog. But before I go on, no this isn’t going to be a promise to get back on the grind, write two blog posts a week and obsessively check my blog stats. Because that wouldn’t be very slow living of me now, would it?
Read MoreIt’s been a while since I talked about my slow living lifestyle here on my blog. And ironically, I guess that’s the point of living a slow lifestyle. After purposefully living more slowly for the past few years, I am now 100% comfortable with not pushing myself to do something that I am not feeling excited about at the time. And that’s the whole reason why I haven’t talked much about it here. I wasn’t super excited to write about it. However, it’s been a few months and I am happy to say that I’m now motivated to talk about my slow lifestyle again.

But they don’t. You can’t trick time. Days, weeks, months and years will still pass all the same. It’s just how I spend that time that has changed.
Read MoreAlthough I wouldn’t say that I have had a typical January - it’s been pretty goood. For most people January is about resetting, getting a fresh start and working on goals. However, for a while I’ve been treating January like most months - I don’t need to reset, unlearn behaviours, set outlandish goals or put undue pressure on myself. I have been enjoying the slow start to the new year and smelling all of the flowers along the way.
