Since 2020 haircare has become a big focus for me. Especially now as my hair is finally back to looking healthy after years of damaging it through dyes, straighteners and curlers. For a bit of context, I have been dying my hair in some form or another since the very young age of 10! Yes, you heard that right, I was just 10 years old when I got my first set of highlights. If there is one thing I love in the world of beauty it’s a versatile palette. I adore it when I can take one palette and create a handful of completely different looks depending on my mood. That’s why for about the last three years my go to palette has always been the Urban Decay X Gwen Stefani - however now I am thinking I have finally found a replacement. Don’t get me wrong, I am still in love with my Urban Decay palette but I am hitting pan on alot of the shades, and as it was a limited edition palette I don’t think I’m going to be able to get my hands on another. First Impressions: Makeup Revolution Mermaids Forever Eyeshadow Palette

I actually got this Makeup Revolution (mermaids forever) palette for my birthday, way back in Feburary, so I have been trialling this particular palette for a good four months almost. Like most Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palettes, this one has a lovely array of different shades which I have used over the last few months to create many different looks.

Although I have a few makeup staples that I just can't seem to replace, there are a few essentials I like to switch up every now and again, especially when there is something new on the market.
