I'm back again with another Conquering Curvy post. This time though, instead of showing you some curvy friendly outfits, I am going to talk to you all about fashion magazines. Like most young women, I read a hell of a lot of fashion magazines. I've had subscriptions to Elle, Vogue, Company and I am partial to a free Stylist every now and again. I love them all from their thought-provoking features to their beauty tips and look books. However, one feature that seems to come up a little bit too much for my liking is the "how to dress for your body type". Lately I have been doing so many fashion week posts and although I loved fashion week I thought I would break up the flux of posts with a good old fashioned outfit of the day. I wore this outfit on the weekend to just chill out with my fiancé and see some of our friends. I don't know what it is but there is something about this look that makes me feel mysterious and feminine at the same time. Little Shilpa is predominantly a brand of headpieces. However, more recently, designer Shilpa Chavan has branched out into apparel. I have been really enjoying the combination of a classic fedora hat and long cardigan lately. I don't know why but it makes me feel completely feminine and totally bad ass at the same time. I also love my black pinafore, a timeless piece with a classic silhouette. This outfit was really comfortable and I wore it to run a few errands around town.
